New DVB-T2 Receiver with H.265/HEVC Support
The Evolveo Omega T2 is a new-generation multimedia recorder with support for the new DVB-T2 broadcast standard with H.265 compression, also known as HEVC. Compared to the DVB-T (H.264) broadcast, HEVC provides more efficient encoding that reduces data flow while maintaining the same visual quality. The receiver is of course backwards compatible with the H.264 codec.
Recording and Playback from External Storage
The device enables playback of multimedia from flash drives or external disks in MKV, DiVX, MPG, MP3, MOV or JPEG formats. There's also the ability to record TV content to external media in digital quality, as well as support for timed recording or setting recording start and stop manually. You will also appreciate the practical TimeShift feature.
Easy Installation
The receiver of course offers teletext, EPG (electronic program guide), and a clear menu. Installing the receiver is very easy and you can handle it yourself without the need for professional assistance. Program tuning can be done either automatically or manually by selecting channels or frequencies. If you have children, you will certainly appreciate the function of the parental lock.
Practical Features for Easy Operation
Operation of the Evolveo Omega T2 is pleasant due to the easy-to-read LCD display and remote control. You can connect the device to your TV via the modern HDMI interface, but if you still have an older TV, you can use the analog SCART connector.
