The Electrolux EHI6540FHK induction hob offers high flexibility and with a Booster function it will provide extra power to quickly reach high temperatures. The Stop+Go feature allows you to move away from the cooktop and ensuring that nothing is burned. Just touch the button once to stop cooking immediately and press the button again to restart with the same setting. The maintenance is easy, the glass ceramic surface is perfectly smooth and with the professional induction technology it never really burns spilled food items. The hob is equipped with DirectAccess control, which offers a fully intuitive way of setting the cooking level. Just touch your finger and move to the selected level. The EcoTimer is a time-saving function which saves energy by shutting down the cooking zone just before the set time has elapsed and uses the residual heat in the final cooking process. The Hob2Hood function automatically switches on and lights up your hood when you start cooking.

Bridge (bridge function)
It allows the connection of two individual cooking zones to form one extra-large cooking zone with a common temperature setting and a timer. This function is ideal when preparing large dishes, e.g. in a pan.
Timer
This function automatically turns off the cooking zone after the time you have set and alerts you.
Child safety lock
The child lock prevents the hob being switched on and off accidentally.

With the three-step residual heat indicator, you can see how hot the cooking zone is after it is turned off and you can use all the residual heat. This can be useful for keeping the temperature of the food at a certain level or cooling it.
