The built-in Electrolux EHF 6342 FOK glass-ceramic countertop, with bevelled edges, is equipped with a touch-sensitive touch control that has been designed to take up minimal space, but still provides a great view of cooking status. The Stop + Go feature lets you move away from the board when, for example, you need to pick up the phone. One touch stops the preparation of the food, and another touch allows you continue with the same setting. This prevents burning.
There's a child-lock that can be easily turned on, requiring only a single touch of a button. The timer provides intuitive control over the end of the food preparation process. When the set- time goes off, it automatically turns off the cooking zone, and alerts you that it is done. The residual heat indicators tell you exactly which parts are still hot and which can be used creatively; such as dissolving chocolate, keeping the sauce warm or defrosting the food. You can also use it to control your energy consumption.
