EDIFIER S1000 MK II
EDIFIER S1000 MK II
The EDIFIER S1000 MK II speakers are a powerful 2.0 active stereo system designed for demanding home listening, whether for music, films or hi-fi audio. With 120W RMS of power, Hi-Res Audio support, and a wide frequency range, they deliver a detailed, dynamic, and spatially rich sound. The EDIFIER S1000 MK II model uses 1” titanium tweeters and 5.5” mid-bass drivers with an aluminium diaphragm. The built-in Class-D amplifiers and digital DSP sound processing ensure stable performance, low distortion, and optimised frequency distribution between the individual drivers. The speakers also support wireless streaming via Bluetooth 5.0 with the Qualcomm aptX HD codec.

Hi-Res Audio and More Accurate Sound Reproduction
The EDIFIER S1000 MK II supports Hi-Res Audio and digital audio playback up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution. The titanium tweeters allow for the reproduction of frequencies up to 40kHz and contribute to more detailed highs with lower distortion. At the same time, the aluminium mid-bass drivers provide a fast response and a more pronounced bass component while maintaining sound clarity.
Modern Connectivity and Wireless Streaming
The speakers offer a wide range of connection options, including Bluetooth 5.0 with Qualcomm aptX HD support for higher-quality wireless music transmission. Optical, coaxial, and RCA inputs are also available for connecting a TV, computer, streamer, or other audio devices. The volume, bass, and treble can be adjusted using the rear controls or the included remote control.
Powerful Amplifiers and Wooden Construction
The EDIFIER S1000 MK II uses separate Class-D amplifiers for the high and mid-bass frequency ranges, which helps to optimise the performance of individual drivers and minimise distortion. The MDF cabinet with an angled front panel helps to direct the sound straight to the listener while reducing unwanted resonance for a cleaner and more natural sound.
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier, so all you need to do is connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly, to listen.Passive speakers are more often referred to as speaker systems. They are intended more for high-quality, loud, and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect a variety of sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent sound signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in the format X.Y (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It indicates how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and above).Specifications
