The Quadcopter DJI Phantom 4 has a fixed skeleton alloy made of titanium and magnesium, which enhances the structure, minimizes vibrations, and reduces the weight of the entire device. The DJI Phantom 4 has four propellers, so it boasts an extremely stable handling even under less favorable flight conditions. A single charge can fly up to 28 minutes. Under ideal conditions, you can reach speeds of flight up to 72 km/h and the remote control has a range of up to 7 km. Thanks to several flight modes, you'll be able to customize your flight experience according to your wishes.
The Quadcopter DJI 4 Phantom Pro is equipped with a 4K camera with 1" CMOS sensor and a resolution of 20 megapixels. Moreover, this is the first camera on a drone that has a mechanical shutter, which removes distortion like a "rolling shutter" (formed e.g. the rapid flight).
Its performance is comparable to conventional cameras. Videos can be stored at a data rate of 100 Mb/s in dual encoding:
A comprehensive system of sensors registers obstacles in five different directions. In the event of an obstacle being detected, the drone will avoid it in the other four directions.
The obstacle avoidance system uses intelligent Flight Autonomy technology supplemented by a stereo image sensor with a high resolution camera in the rear of the quadcopter. Another pair of sensors are located in the front part of the drone. Additionally, it has infrared sensors that detect obstacles on the sides so the pilot can fully concentrate on shooting a great video without having to worry about things getting in the way.
The improved driver has a Lightbridge system for transmission of high definition video that supports a transmission frequency of 5.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz, thus minimizing the risk of interfering signal transmissions. During use of the DJI Phantom Pro 4, it automatically assess the level of ambient noise and based on that, it selects the appropriate transmission frequency. Thanks to this feature, it is possible, in ideal conditions, to achieve a video transmission up to a distance of 7 km.
An integrated HDMI port, microSD card slot, microphone, speaker, and WiFi connectivity lets you edit photos using DJI GO. Battery life on the driver is approximately 5 hours.
For flying and shooting videos, you will need the DJI GO mobile application. It offers a live preview, various flight data, and other advanced settings. Furthermore, it gives you access to the manual camera settings, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and many other important features. By using the DJI GO, you can easily edit videos and images, and then share it on your social networks. It even allows for live transmissions. This application is also available on the DJI Crystal Sky monitor.
