The DJI Mavic Air can handle 4K video
The DJI Mavic Air's built-in camera has a 12Mpx CMOS sensor (including HDR support and 32Mpx Sphere Panoramas) and captures videos at an amazing 4K 30 fps, recording at 100Mb/sec. When recording in full HD, this jumps to an untouchable 120fps. The DJI Mavic Air camera is equipped with an f/2.8 lens which together with the three-axis gimbal suspension rounds up some pretty incredible parameters.
FlightAutonomy 2.0 for maximum flight safety
The sophisticated FlightAutonomy 2.0 sensor system collects environmental information and transmits it to the high-performance processor. The result is an accurate evaluation for better flight performance.
Real-time VIO technology evaluates the speed and height of the drone and its position. A pair of cameras measures the altitude of the drone for more precise hovering or flying at any speed.
The Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) allow the drone to actively avoid obstacles in front of and behind it. Data collected is used to create a 3D map of the surrounding area.
Foldable remote control
The supplied remote control fits perfectly into your hand and will certainly be a great support for the beginner. Its low-profile design perfectly reflects the small dimensions of the DJI Mavic Air itself. Removable control sticks can also be stored directly inside the remote control.
Gesture control
DJI has been producing drones for many years and is a world leader in this area. During this time, the developers not only fine-tuned the application environment but also managed to develop a unique system of object recognition and tracking. Smart Capture is an entirely new level and interactive way of controlling the Mavic Air by hand. The drone is able to focus on your palm and carefully follow individual gestures. For example, when you move your hand slightly, it will start watching you. If you close your hands together and create a rectangle with your fingers, the drone takes a picture after a three-second countdown.
