Drone folding refers to the ability of the arms, on which the motors and propellers are mounted, to fold up to the main body of the drone. This mechanism allows the overall size of the drone to be significantly reduced when not in use. The main advantage is ease of carrying and storage, as the folded drone takes up significantly less space and fits into smaller backpacks or carrying cases. Once the arms are unfolded into flight position, the drone is fully functional and ready to fly.
