The DCS-942L Cloud Camera is a versatile monitoring solution for your home or office capable of capturing during the day and night. Unlike a regular webcam, the D-Link is a standalone system that, without having to be connected to a computer, can transfer and record a high-quality image onto the memory card. It is equipped with a microphone and an external speaker connector and a motion detector. The mydlink support lets you monitor and control your camera through a regular computer or iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
It sees in day and night
An interesting and practical motion detection feature can send warning emails with photos or videos. You can also define a tracked area, such as a window or garage door. The built-in infrared LED light with a range of up to 5 metres can be used for night-time surveillance, which allows continuous monitoring even in complete darkness.

Connecting the cameras to a computer network and making it available has previously required a complex setup. Mydlink Cloud Services now provides easy access to the camera from anywhere, whenever you need it. Use the wizard to quickly get your camera up and running, then set up a mydlink account through the web interface to let you monitor and control your camera from any computer with an internet connection.

Recording to a microSD card
The microSD card connector (the camera comes with a 16GB card) lets you capture video and audio directly in the camera, and record motion detection, with continuous shooting for up to 7 days, or until the recording capacity starts to overwrite with a new recording.

Along with D-Link, you can also get D-ViewCam - a comprehensive surveillance camera system for central control of up to 32 IP cameras.
The program provides digital monitoring and recording of video, audio and events for various security applications with a wide range of features for convenient use, including recording and playback of video clips.
