Corsair 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9 XMS3 is a kit containing a pair of the high capacity memory modules CORSAIR XMS3 with an effective cooling system. The DDR3 modules have a total capacity of 8 GB and work at 1600 MHz, which allows them to achieve solid CAS latency (CL9-9-9-27). The dual channel technology and low voltage offer the optimal combination of performance, low response time and decreased power consumption.

The memory modules feature an innovative passive cooling system with the aluminium XMS3 heatspreader which provides superior temperature management. Unlike DDR1 and DDR2 modules, DDR3 offers higher frequency and lower power consumption. This module has 240 pins like DDR2 but to prevent their misuse, the notch is repositioned.
