Colonutrin PLUS 1000 mg is a dietary supplement. It is a highly innovative tablet form of butyrate with gastro-resistant packaging and functional release. The tablets allow butyrate to be transported to the large intestine, while the other active substances are released during passage through the small intestine.
Active ingredients
- L-glutamine is a conditionally essential amino acid. This means that under certain circumstances and conditions, the body is unable to produce it in sufficient quantities. In such cases, supplementation is advisable. L-glutamine is readily absorbed into the cells of the lining of the small intestine (enterocytes) where it is either metabolized or transported into the bloodstream and distributed throughout the body.
- Zinc contributes to normal immune system function, normal DNA synthesis and normal carbohydrate metabolism. Contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, hair and nails. It protects cells from oxidative stress and is involved in the process of cell division.
- Calcium contributes to normal blood clotting, normal muscle function and normal function of digestive enzymes. It is also needed to maintain the normal condition of bones and teeth.

Recommended dosage
It is recommended to take 1-2 tablets daily, preferably outside of main meals. Wash down with plenty of water.
