Hoverboards are the hottest new thing that provides fun, enjoyment and a novel form of transport. Colonel introduce the Lightning Standard APP model with mobile application which is part of the basic models of hoverboards.
The standard Colonel is powered by two 350W engines to deliver the ability to travel at speeds of up to 16km/h. For comparison, this speed compares to a swift run speed. At the same time, the Colonel can overcome ascents to an angle of up to 25°. The manufacturer prides itself in using only the most powerful engines on the Changhong brand.
The Colonel weighs about 12kg and has a maximum carrying capacity of 120kg. The 4.4Ah Samsung lithium battery is fully charged after two hours and its range is up to 20km.
Segway stands behind pioneering technology, which was first used it in its personal transporters. The basis of the balancing system is intelligent microchips and gyroscopes that work together to evaluate the position of the rider on the Colonel. The gyroscopic system also allows the rider to rotate on the spot, to roll forward or to reverse. Using the technology described above, the Colonel can determine whether the rider is tilting forward or backward and accordingly changing the direction of travel.
