How to Make the Perfect Cup of Coffee

You are going to need a drip coffee maker, a filter and a cup. Grind coffee to a fine consistency and put it in the filter. Use about seven grams of coffee for every 100ml of water. Bring the water to boil and let it cool down for 3-4 minutes. Pour a small amount of water on the filter with a slow, circular motion. If you are using freshly ground coffee, you will see the so-called coffee bloom as the coffee absorbs water. Wait for 15 seconds and then pour the rest of the water on the coffee with a spiral motion from the outer edge of the filter to the centre. The slower you pour, the stronger the coffee.
