For the production of the CAT J10-200 spade blade, ultra high-quality hardened steel for military use is used, which is hardened by high temperature and carbon-added to increase its durability. The hardness of the steel reaches 49 on the Rockwell scale, so there is no problem to cut the roots due to the beveled and sharp edges of the CAT spade . The resistance of the fiberglass body of the spade is 159 kg (shovel force test).
