Canon RC-6

The Canon RC-6 infrared remote control is designed to be used with Canon EOS cameras. In addition to controlling the shutter, it also allows you to start and pause when filming video.

Photography
Set the camera to remote control mode. For more information, study the relevant section of your camera's instruction manual. Taking photos with the remote control may not be possible in backlight. When using the remote control, place the eyepiece cover on the viewfinder, because of the possibility of side exposure.

Bulb (long exposure) - In Bulb mode, press the button once to open the shutter and again to close it. It is not necessary to hold the button down.

Filming video
The RC-6 also allows you to record video. In the MENU of your compatible camera, enable the use of the remote control. To start recording, press the remote button once, and a second time to end recording.
