The new Canon imagePROGRAF M40 AiO large-format scanner is especially useful in drawing offices and graphic design studios equipped with a large-format 36" or 44" Canon imagePROGRAF plotter. Connecting the M40 to the plotter via the integrated stand enables you to scan and process technical documentation or other materials with a maximum width of 40 inches at 600dpi.

Precise Scanning with Low Power Consumption

Scanning is handled by CIS (contact image sensor) technology that uses miniature LEDs for illumination. This means the sensor head can be smaller and lowers energy costs. The SingleSensor technology speeds up the scanning process and together with a 3.0 USB delivers all the scanned data to your computer up to 10 times faster than conventional USB interface.
