This powerful compact Canon lens features an aperture of F4.0. It also has a very low weight of only 760g. The lens is equipped with 16 members in 13 groups. It can focus on objects in a distance of 1.2m. In addition, you can attach a rotating polarised filter since the front member does not rotate during focusing. The focusing itself is ensured by a USM motor, which is fast and quiet. This drive employs a piezoelectric principle and consists of a stator and a rotor.
