The great Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey has taken on the role of the boss of the largest private military organisation. And as we know, too much power is never enough, so he is eager to shape his chilling vision of the future of war. In 2045 his army of soldiers is at the centre of all military and political events. You, as an elite mercenary, will be assigned to perform different tasks all over the world and in quite some time, you will realise that maybe, just maybe, there is something strange going on.
In the near future, a soldier is not a macho man in green clothes but it is literally a monster in a special exoskeleton which has supernatural abilities. Live your action dreams: jump onto high buildings, turn a bunch of cars into a defensive barricade and do other crazy stuff. Just imagine the possibilities the multiplayer mode brings!
With the advent of the exoskeleton, the rules of conventional multiplayer gaming no longer apply. Aside from increasing your physical strength, the suit is also equipped with a regenerating battery that lets you use special abilities for a short amount of time. Hovering, invisibility and a bulletproof shield will become part of your fighting tactics and other useful options will unlock over time as you level up. However, the game is smart enough to not give you access to all the powers at once, thus encouraging honest teamwork and clever cooperation with other players.
Like its predecessors, Advanced Warfare has a reward system with more than a thousand available rewards. Various weapons, exoskeleton improvements and pieces pf unique character equipment are available in three qualitative levels: Enlisted, Professional and Elite. Before you go to battle with your brand-new equipment, you might want to pop over to a virtual shooting range where you can test everything. After all, you don't want to be embarrassed before your teammates!
