Cafédirect Machu Picchu SCA 83 ground coffee is grown in the Peruvian Andes region near Machu Picchu Mountain. It comes from the HUADQUINA agricultural cooperative, where farmers pick it by hand as it ripens. The coffee beans are obtained from the cherries by washing them in spring water and then drying them on large plates outside in the sun. The growing, harvesting and processing processes meet high quality standards. The coffee is 100% Organic and Fairtrade. It offers a delicate taste with hints of cocoa and nuts without a bitter finish.
