The BS Acoustic WA250 compact digital amplifier includes wireless WiFi connectivity. This allows it to play music from local, network and internet storage, including internet radio and podcasts. You can also play MP3 songs from flash drives thanks to the USB socket on the back. Wireless streaming is also represented by the ability to play via Bluetooth. Connect modern digital music sources such as televisions via the digital optical input. You can connect a subwoofer via a separate low-frequency output.
Audio can be played back using various applications, e.g. Muzo, Air Wire, All Connect and others, or directly using applications of Internet services such as e.g. Spotify, Qplay, Melon, Tune In, iHeartRadio, Napster. You can also stream directly from smartphone and tablet players. As a prerequisite, apps must be able to select UPnP devices on the network and stream via DLNA or AirPlay.
The BS Acoustic WA250 streams music content directly. It contacts the music source directly (even on the internet) based on a command from the streaming app. Streaming is done directly from the music source to the amplifier and the app itself is no longer necessary (it can be turned off). Multiple such amplifiers can be logged into a WiFi network at once, giving you a complete multi-room sound system. In the streaming app, you can see all the amps at once, and you can choose what to stream and where to stream it. In multiroom use, it is possible to operate in SOLO mode (different music to different devices) or MULTI mode (selected devices are synchronised with each other).
