Hygienically tested BOSCH dishwasher
In a BOSCH dishwasher, viruses such as corona or influenza are effectively eliminated even with the Eco 50°C programme, which has been tested by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology (Hygiene Level 1 label). Even higher levels of hygiene can be achieved by using programmes with higher temperatures in your BOSCH dishwasher, which are also effective against more resistant viruses, including enveloped and non-enveloped viruses. In BOSCH dishwashers, these criteria are met by the Intensive 70°C programme and the Machine Care maintenance programme (Hygiene Level 3 label).

Enjoy your smart home. With Home Connect technology, you can control your BOSCH SMV4ECX28E dishwasher from anywhere using the mobile app. Conveniently set the washing programme, use remote appliance diagnostics or get recommendations for the right programme for your dishes. The app also has a tablet counter, so you won't forget to buy new tablets. For an enhanced user experience, the app is supplemented with notifications that inform you, for example, when the dishwasher has finished. Thanks to its compatibility with Amazon Alexa, you can even control the dishwasher with your voice.

ActiveWater technology
We designed the ActiveWater system to wash dishes really thoroughly, while minimising resource consumption. Instead of just using more water, it uses it more efficiently. With targeted spraying, rapid circulation and advanced filtration, our dishwashers deliver hygienically clean and sparkling dishes. This efficient design achieves these results with less water, and therefore less energy to heat it.
Quiet operation
Dishwashers with SilentPowerDrive ensure efficient washing with a low noise level. They are equipped with a brushless motor designed for energy-efficient operation. The motor helps to reduce the noise caused by friction and contributes to the smooth and quiet operation of the appliance.
Harnessing the full power of detergents
The correct dosage of detergent is important for an optimal washing result. The DosageAssist on the BOSCH SMV4ECX28E dishwasher ensures that the detergent dissolves completely in a special tray at the top of the basket. Using a targeted jet of water, the detergent is used evenly, controlled and quickly throughout the inside of the dishwasher. The washing is more efficient and quieter as a result.
Flex baskets
Stacking dishes in the dishwasher is now much easier. The adaptable Flex baskets let you easily stack all types of dishes and ensure they are stored safely. The improved system makes loading and unloading the dishwasher smooth and easy.
Flexible baskets for greater convenience
If you need even more space, the BOSCH SMV4ECX28E dishwasher is equipped with a pull-out VarioDrawer cutlery drawer, which adds an extra storage level at the top of the dishwasher, making it much easier to load and increasing its capacity. It's the ideal place for cutlery and small kitchen utensils, such as ladles, whisks or espresso cups. This drawer replaces the cutlery basket in the lower basket, leaving you more space at the bottom of the dishwasher.
Lifetime AquaStop warranty for water damage
Every Bosch appliance is precisely checked according to strictly set standards of quality, performance and sustainability. All Bosch dishwashers have the AquaStop system and a lifetime warranty against water damage, as well as a ten-year warranty against rusting through of the inner casing of the dishwasher. *
