PowerBoost – faster heating when you're in a hurry
The PowerBoost function provides the cooking zone with more energy, helping to speed up food preparation. It's useful, for example, for quickly bringing water to the boil or for preparing meals when you don't want to waste time waiting. The higher power lets you handle everyday cooking more quickly and efficiently.
ReStart – return to your last setting
If the hob is switched off accidentally, for example due to a spillage, the ReStart function saves the last selected setting. After cleaning the control surface, you can simply restore the setting by pressing a button and continue cooking without having to re-enter all the parameters.
Timer with switch-off function
The practical timer allows you to set the cooking time for a selected cooking zone. Once the set time has elapsed, the respective zone will switch off automatically, giving you better control over your food preparation. This function is useful for cooking pasta, rice, or dishes that require a precise preparation time.
Child lock for increased safety
The child lock helps to prevent the hob from being switched on or the settings being changed accidentally. It is activated by a long press of the button and increases safety in the home, especially where children are present. This gives you peace of mind that the BOSCH PKN675DP1D Serie 8 hob will not be started by mistake.
Energy consumption overview
After you finish cooking, the display shows the energy consumption. This gives you a better overview of how much energy was used to prepare the meal. The function helps you cook more consciously and makes it easier to monitor the energy demands of daily use.
