The Boogie Board JOT is a simple black-and-white tablet that can replace your notepad, fridge post-its or scrap paper on a monitor. It is the ideal device for writing notes, drawing or creating sketches and thought maps. The 4.5" version is optimised for easy handling when writing and drawing as it fits perfectly into one hand. It's also easy to carry as it fits neatly into a pocket or handbag too. The black-and-white display is perfectly clear even in direct sunlight, and because the device is also pressure sensitive, lines of different thicknesses are also possible. Users can write on the display using the Stylus touchscreen pen or a similar object, but the JOT does not respond to human touch, so you won't spoil anything if you accidentally lay your hand on the JOT while writing or drawing. The Stylus can also be placed into a hole in the device when not in use, which serves as a practical stand.

The display's contents can be easily deleted just by pressing one button, and power is provided using a built-in battery that lasts for several years because the only time power is drawn is to erase the display. Using it couldn't be simpler: simply draw or write with the Stylus and delete the contents with one button. The JOT is a truly versatile and easy-to-use device that will come in handy to just about everyone - including those who don't normally use computers.
