Banana Pi is a miniature credit card sized computer that was created as an Open Source hardware. It supports a wide range of operating systems such as Android, Debian Linux, Ubuntu Linux, OpenSuse linux, and Raspberry Pi and Cubieboard. It is powered by a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A7 dual-core processor, which has a Mali400MP2 graphics chip and 1 GB of memory.

The Banana Pi R1 is perfectly suited for a construction of your own router or even NAS. It has all the necessary requirements - 5x GLAN, SATA port for connecting hard disk drive, Wi-Fi and USB OTG.
