The Banana Pi M2 is a second generation single board computer with an upgraded SoC based on the ARM architecture that provides even more power for computing tasks. It can run on a variety of operating systems including Android, Lubuntu, Ubuntu, Debian, and Raspbian. On the quest to power, the classic pi ate two more cores to make a quad-core super pi. It also aquired new WiFI capabilities and more USB ports. It is an open-platform device greatly suitable for building small servers, inexpensive computers, video game emulators, and much more.
The computer is built around a powerful quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 processor married to a Mali 400 MP2 graphics card and 1GB of memory. The BANANA Pi also comes with a pair of USB 2.0 ports, one of which supports the USB On The Go specification. Internet connectivity is ensured thanks to a Gigabit Ethernet LAN card, and all data is stored on an SD memory card, from which the operating system also boots. Using the inbuilt HDMI port, you can easily connect an external display device such as a TV and enjoy Full HD videos or play games on a big screen.
