AXAGON PCES-SA2

The AXAGON PCES-SA2 PCI-Express controller extends desktop PCs to two high-speed SATA III ports up to 6Gb/sec .
The ASMedia chip card (ASUS subsidiary) not only supports SATA 3.0 specification but also other SATA technologies such as Hot-Plug, Native Command Queue (NCQ), TRIM, or Port Multiplier.

PCI-Express 2.0, compatible with PCI-Express 1.0a/1.1/2.1/3.0.
Number of 1-Lane (x1) lines compatible with x1/x4/x8/x16 PCIe slots.
1-Lane PCI-Express 2.0 Bus Transmission 5 Gb/sec.

Exit:
2x independent Serial ATA port, SATA III 6G standard.
2x internal 7-pin SATA data connector.
Support for all SATA I / SATA II / SATA III optical drives, SSDs, and hard disks of all capacities.

Full Plug and Play support.
Compliant with Serial ATA 3.0 specification (SATA/600), transfer rates of up to 6 Gbps (600 MB/sec).
Compliant with Serial ATA 2.0 specification (SATA/300), transfer rates of up to 3 Gbps (300 MB/sec).
Compliant with Serial ATA 1.0 specification (SATA/150), transmission speeds up to 1.5 Gbps (150 MB/sec).
The Advanced Host Control Interface Serial ATA (AHCI) meets the specification under 1.3. revision
Hot Plug support for connecting and disconnecting SATA devices while running.
Support Native Command Queuing (NCQ).
Support for TRIM for SSDs.
Support Port Multiplier with FIS-based switching.
The controller has its own BIOS - it supports booting from connected drives.  
Two 2-pin sockets to connect HDD cabinet LEDs.
Used ASMedia ASM1061 chipset.
