The AXAGON CLR-M2FAN copper heatsink with fan is designed to cool high-performance M.2 SSDs, particularly NVMe drives. This versatile heatsink is compatible with M.2 cards measuring 22 × 80 mm. The included thermal pads, , enable the cooler to be fitted to all single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSDs. The cooler’s copper finned core with an aluminium shroud is 8.6 mm high. Beneath the cover is a fan with PWM speed control, which connects to the computer’s motherboard via a 4-pin power connector. The fan speed can be automatically controlled based on temperature, to save energy or reduce noise.

Active copper cooling for M.2 SSDs
The copper heatsink with a fan, together with the metal frame, helps to optimally dissipate the heat generated during operation of the M.2 SSD, thereby reducing the drive’s temperature by up to 30 °C. This extends the SSD’s lifespan and prevents a slowdown in the drive’s speed. The heatsink can be used not only with AXAGON M.2 adaptors, but also with M.2 (NGFF) slots on motherboards. Thanks to the metal frame, the heatsink dissipates heat from both sides of the M.2 drive, achieving high cooling efficiency.
