AVACOM introduces notebook batteries built from PANASONIC and SONY premium high capacity battery cells. These batteries have the same dimensions and weights with up to 32% more capacity than the original battery. For example, a 6-cell battery with an original capacity of 4,400mAh is now available with 5,800mAh. The components from which these batteries are assembled have a longer life than most types of components used by renowned laptop manufacturers.

The batteries use sophisticated electronics with double protection. The electronics control the charging of individual cell strings and also protect them from overcharging and failure. With batteries that contain high-capacity cells, the notebook's battery life will noticeably increase, so you won't have to travel with an AC adapter for longer appointments.
How to keep the battery in good condition
The battery is partially charged at the factory, yet its capacity and performance are below 100%. Therefore, for optimal battery formatting, it is recommended to repeat the charge and discharge cycle at least 3 times at the beginning. Battery capacity reduces with a permanent connection to a power supply, so we recommend that you unplug the device from time to time. If the battery is not in use, store it in a dry place and check it approximately every six months.
What causes damage to the batteries
One of the most common causes of battery degradation is when you let it discharge it completely and do not use it for a long time. Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 60°C. If the battery is exposed to temperatures below 5°C, charge it only at room temperature. Only use the battery in the devices for which it is intended. Also be careful that the battery is not subject to a short circuit or higher discharge currents. Protect it from mechanical damage, chemical agents and moisture.
