Use
For minor repairs of damaged zinc-phosphate coatings on car bodies and other vehicle parts. TITANID technology makes it easy and inexpensive to repair corrosion-resistant coatings on vehicles without any noticeable repairs. A costly electrolytic process is not necessary. Shake the can thoroughly for at least 2 minutes before using. The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Spray distance: 15-25 cm. Apply METALYT in a thin layer in 1-2 passes.
Notice
Sparks may fly off when spot welding. Cover the adjacent surfaces. Not suitable for automated spot welding. It dries after about 5-8 minutes. Dry to the touch after about 1 hour. It can be sealed and repainted after 2 hours (at 60 °C) resp. after 24 hours (at room temperature). Full mechanical loading possible after 2-3 days.
