The ASUS BW-12D1S-U is a fast, light, modern external Blu-ray drive. It is designed for playback and burning all types of high-capacity Blu-ray discs, including dual-layer discs. It is also possible to burn all types of CDs, DVDs and popular DVD-RAM. This drive boasts Magic Cinema technology, which enables 2D to 3D HD conversion. Dolby Digital EX and DTS-HD ensures crisp audio. To save space, the drive can be placed either horizontally or vertically. It also comes equipped with buffer memory. The ASUS BW-12D1S-U is powered via an external 5V power supply, communicating via USB. The package also includes practical software, a power supply, stand and cable.
