Energy-efficient and quiet operation
ARISTON Nuos Plus S2 heat pump belongs to the highest energy class A+, which means it saves up to 80% of electricity compared to traditional class B water heaters of the same capacity. The water heater uses eco-friendly R290 (propane) refrigerant. You will also appreciate the quiet operation of only 45dB(A).
Powerful heat pump with backup heating element
ARISTON Nuos Plus S2 is perfect for economical and energy-efficient water heating in houses or apartments. The built-in 280W heat pump uses air drawn directly from indoors or outdoors (via ducting). The pump operates in air temperatures ranging from -10 to 42°C. If the temperature drops below this range, a backup 1.2kW heating element takes over. The maximum power consumption during combined operation is 1550W.
ARISTON Nuos Plus S2 offers various operating modes
Various operating modes and functions make the water heater incredibly easy to use. Choose from Green mode (maximum savings using only the heat pump), Boost (fast heating with the help of the heating element), i-Memory (learns your water consumption habits), Holiday mode, or the automatic anti-Legionella cycle. ARISTON Nuos Plus S2 integrates easily into homes with solar PV and off-peak electricity systems. This connection enables the water heater to turn on and heat water automatically as soon as your solar PV system starts producing surplus energy. You can track your energy consumption easily using the Ariston NET app.
Reliable corrosion and frost protection
The water heater features a steel water tank lined with titanium enamel, which guarantees high durability and long life. Active protection against corrosion comes from a continuously powered electronic anode (ProTech), complemented by a passive magnesium anode as a second layer of defense. Anti-frost protection shields the condensate and the appliance itself from frost damage. Additionally, a special program raises the water temperature to 65°C once a month to eliminate any Legionella bacteria.
