Arduino is an open-source platform for easy design and development of programmable electronic devices. It is very suitable for rapid prototyping of toys, equipment and controls, and control applications without the need for a deeper knowledge of the principles of electronics. Without soldering and using a simple development environment and programming language you can create, for example, serious monitoring devices with various sensors or create a remote-controlled robot.
Arduino Nano is a minimized layout Pin Java board with AVR microcontroller ATmega328. Its functionally is identical to the version Arduino UNO but adapted for insertion into a solderless contact field. Input and output pins therefore are led to the underside of the board. It lacks only a DC power jack, and works with a Mini-B USB cable instead of a standard one. The board itself contains 14 digital inputs/outputs and 8 analogue . Connector for external power supply is replaced by a pair of pins for connection of 5-20 V, It is also connected to one LED, which can be controlled. Other optional peripherals must be connected separately.
The advantage of the device is Arduinos simple connection to your computer and programming . Arduino Nano is equipped with a mini USB connector for connection to a PC which is recognised as a serial port. Custom programming is done in a simple Arduino IDE environment with the help of language derived from the wiring. The code is very clear and separates the programmer from the complexity of the hardware configuration.
