Arduino is a physical open-source platform based on a simple microcontroller board and a software development environment. With Arduin,you can develop interactive objects, gain inputs from different sensors, or control other devices such as lights or motors. The Arduino programming language uses Wiring, a physical computer platform based on the multimedia programming environment processing.
