Arctic Freezer i30 CO is a premium processor heat sink for Intel 2011, 1155 and 1156 slots. Continuous Operation in the name means that the fan is also suitable for continuous operation,On servers. This property results from the use of high quality Japanese bearings and promises up to 5 times more resistance than other fans because they are much less prone to overheating and dust clogging.
The heat exchanger's passband is formed by aluminum ribs and 4 heatpipe which directly touch the processor with their surface. Ribbon is composed of 48 plates, between which the air flows from the 120mm fan and reliably transfers heat from the radiator and hence from the processor. The PWM keeps the fan speed at its optimum value and thus reduces the noise, but it is only 0.3 times the highest speed of rotation (1350 rpm). With the Arctic Freezer i30 CO, there is no problem with any processor, including even the most overclocked pieces, because it is dragged to deliver up to 320 watts of waste heat.
The dimensions and weight of this robust chiller also require a reliable fit. This is solved by a robust steel mounting clamp, which is enough to be mounted on the socket 2011.For compatibility with sockets 1155 and 1156, you also need to use a special pad included in the package. There are 4 rubber vibration absorbers in front of the chiller to transmit fine tremors from the fan to the radiator.
