The Arctic Freezer 7 LP fan is designed for Intel processors with the LGA775 socket. Its dimensions guarantee the possibility of installation even in smaller cabinets while offering the comfort of large coolers. Of course, there is low noise and high cooling performance. Its ideal use is found in HTPC and low profile cabinets, where classic large radiators can not fit or we want to replace box radiators that do not use very high efficiency or low noise.
The heat sink uses heatpipe technology, which is essentially a liquid-filled tube for better heat transfer from processor to aluminum ribbing. Rapid heat removal from the radiator takes care of a silent fan (80 mm) with an air flow of up to 47.6 m3 per hour. Speed ranges from 600-2000 per minute and its noise is also excellent and only 0.5 Sone.
Despite its small size, the heat sink offers good cooling performance and is capable of mitigating processors with maximum power consumption of 90W (TDP). Mounting is the same as installing any other LGA775 socket coolers.
