The most important parameter is the UPS run time. This is governed by the power consumption of the connected devices – for example, at half-load (50%), the backup time will be three times longer. The load of the UPS determines the operating time, which at full load (100%) is 1 min and at a load of 50%, it's 5 min. It is therefore necessary to calculate the energy consumption of the connected computers, monitors and other electronics and ideally to add some spare power left.
