By allowing you to set the correct height, it prevents unnecessary slouching and lets you stretch your back, neck, and muscles throughout your body while you work. Regularly alternating between sitting and standing also promotes natural movement and better blood circulation, which your body will appreciate during long hours at the desk. Although most of us sit while we work, the ability to easily change your working position brings significantly greater comfort throughout the day.
Includes Desktop
The AlzaErgo Table ET1 Essential height-adjustable desk comes with an AlzaErgo desktop in an oak effect, measuring 140 × 80 × 1.8 cm. The desktop is made from high-quality E1 grade chipboard, and its edges are protected with PVC strips, which contributes to its long lifespan and greater durability during daily use. The surface is resistant to impacts, scratches, abrasion, and stains, while also being very easy to maintain—it can be safely cleaned with common cleaning products. The desktop does not come pre-drilled, but screws are included in the package, so you can handle the assembly with common tools (e.g., a screwdriver, a tape measure, and possibly a cordless drill for pre-drilling holes).

You can easily change the position of the AlzaErgo Table ET1 Essential desk using the push-button control panel with a display showing the current height and other additional information. It includes a practical timer to remind you to change your working position, allowing you to fully dedicate yourself to your work while ensuring regular movement. There is also a memory function to save three of your most-used heights. You only need to set the height manually once, save it, and you won't have to worry about it for future changes. There is also the option to choose units (centimetres or inches).

Their noise level does not exceed 60 dB, so they won't disturb you while you work. Just press the desired button on the control panel, and the desk will automatically adjust to the required height. An essential safety feature is the anti-collision system with 8 levels of adjustable sensitivity, which helps prevent accidents and damage to your equipment. Furthermore, the detection sensitivity can be set separately for upward and downward movement, so you can easily adapt the desk's behaviour to your needs and the surrounding space.
