In this case, the Intel NUC platform (The Next Unit of Computing) is built on the Intel Core i5 7260U processor from the Kaby Lake family. The TurboBoost technology can raise the clocking frequency from the basic 2.2GHz up to a maximum of 3.4GHz, allowing smooth multitasking and maximum comfort when working with multiple applications at once. Of course, basic operations like watching movies, viewing photos and ordinary office tasks are absolutely seamless.
The Intel Optane technology is a brand-new feature which acts as a caching storage. Combined with a spacious hard drive, it significantly reduces waiting times when booting up the computer and launching applications.
