The ALPINESTARS RX-5 DRYSTARS men's jacket in size XXL is designed for sport touring. Its textile construction from polyester features a Drystar® climate membrane, which is both waterproof and breathable. For cooler days, you'll appreciate the removable thermal liner. Safety is ensured by certified elbow and shoulder protectors, and the jacket is fully compatible with TECH-AIR®5 airbag vests. Thanks to the ventilation system and adjustable waist and sleeves, you can tailor it to your exact needs.

High level of protection

Safety is a key element of the RX-5 DRYSTARS jacket. Protection is provided by certified NUCLEON FLEX PRO protectors on the elbows and shoulders, complemented by external GP LITE sliders on the shoulders. The jacket is prepared for the insertion of NUCLEON series back protectors (level 1 and 2). For maximum safety, it is fully compatible with the TECH-AIR®5 airbag system. The overall construction meets CE class AA certification, confirming its durability. Strategically placed reflective elements on the forearms and back enhance visibility in poor light conditions.

Comfort in any weather

The jacket adapts to various weather conditions. The fixed Drystar® membrane guarantees waterproofness and breathability, so you stay dry from the outside and the inside. In cold weather, the removable thermal liner will keep you warm, with a different weight for better mobility – 120g/m³ on the body and 80g/m³ on the sleeves. During warmer days, you'll appreciate the extensive DVS (Direct Ventilation System) with vents on the chest, sleeves, forearms, and shoulder blades, which ensures efficient airflow.

Fit and practical details

The sport touring fit with an extended back provides better coverage in the riding position. The cut-out lower hem of the jacket increases comfort when sitting on the motorcycle. You can easily adjust the width of the waist and forearms using hook-and-loop straps and poppers. The sleeve cuffs are also adjustable. A raised collar with breathable mesh and a hook-and-loop closure prevents neck irritation. The jacket includes two outer front pockets and an internal zip that lets you securely connect it to Alpinestars riding trousers.
