The ALPINESTARS PROTON WATERPROOF men's jacket in size 3XL combines sports and touring features. Its hybrid construction blends the durability of cowhide leather with the flexibility of stretch fabric, which you'll appreciate during active riding. Thanks to a fixed waterproof membrane, you won't be caught out by the rain, while the removable thermal liner ensures warmth in colder weather. The cut is optimised for a sporty position on your motorcycle, and the jacket is fully compatible with Tech-Air airbag systems.

Hybrid construction and advanced protection

The core of the jacket is a hybrid construction that combines panels of premium cowhide leather with strategically placed sections of stretch fabric. The leather provides high abrasion resistance in high-risk zones, while the fabric offers flexibility and comfort. Internal removable NUCLEON FLEX PLUS Level 2 protectors and external GP LITE sliders on the shoulders look after joint protection. The jacket can also be fitted with NUCLEON back and chest protectors. A key feature is its full compatibility with TECH-AIR®5 and TECH-AIR®3 airbag vests.

Ready for changing weather

The PROTON WATERPROOF jacket is designed for year-round use. A permanently sewn-in two-layer climate membrane reliably protects against rain and wind. For riding on cold days, there's a removable thermal liner with different weights for optimal insulation – 100g/m² in the torso area and 80g/m² in the sleeves to avoid restricting movement. In warm weather, you'll appreciate the direct ventilation system, which consists of two zipped vents on the chest for effective airflow.

Ergonomics for sports performance

The jacket's cut is tailored to a sporty riding position. Extensive stretch panels under the arms and in the shoulder blade area ensure freedom of movement. The extended back section provides better coverage for the lower back, even when leaning forward on the motorcycle. The low-profile sports collar has a soft microfibre inner side to prevent neck chafing. You can easily adjust the waist width using the adjustment straps. For storing small items, there are two external pockets and two internal waterproof document wallets for your papers or phone.
