Functions that every musician understands with AKAI Pro MPK
The keyboard is ideal to quickly entering notes and phrases into your computer. Sensitive keys allow you to accurately express your dynamics, while using the special octave buttons you can simply move up and down. Create a base, staccato solo, and bass line built on different timing variations with the built-in arpeggiator. The Tap Tempo button gives you the ability to quickly set the arpeggiator clock, which is essential for a 100% synchronization with the band. The Sustain button keeps sounds even after you release your hands from the keyboard, allowing you to easily transform the sounds of the pad by twisting the rotary controls without the need for a pedal.
Up to 16 paddles are available
The MPK Mini MKII offers 8 backlit high-speed paddles based on the Akai Professional MPC series, a cult music production station. Pads can be used to broadcast information about MIDI notes, MIDI continuous controllers, or to change program events. Press the Bank button to quickly switch between 2 paddles, giving you access to a total of 16 paddles.
Use without drivers
The keys work without the prior installation of Plug and Play drivers with Mac OS X and Windows operating systems. It does not require external power for your operation, it is sufficient with the power supplied from the USB port. It has four memory slots for programming and retrieving settings for your favourite programs. The supplied software enables rapid mapping of controls for the MPK mini.
