These PROTECO 180mm splitting pliers are made of special tool steel, allowing for high cutting-edge hardness, up to 64HRC. The pliers' handles are made of two separate layers of plastic. These pliers can be used to cut all common types of wire. By shifting the pin (versus previous pliers), the lever ratio has changed, resulting in up to 35% greater power savings.
