This 32" Samsung LCD monitor lets you work in 4K (3840 × 2160) resolution, which allows for a detailed image, ideal for working efficiently with visually complex content. Such an advanced resolution can only be rendered by a computer with a suitable graphics card. Its VA panel offers deeper blacks as a result of high contrast. This makes objects more recognisable even in darker areas. It displays data with a 10-bit colour depth. HDR technology renders much more detail with realistic image depth and higher contrast, similar to what the human eye sees. The display's matte finish reduces light reflection in the room and helps against light coming from a window. Thanks to the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, you can comfortably open a text document with a graphics editor side by side, for example, and work with windows efficiently. The VA panel is backlit by LEDs. A maximum brightness of 350 cd/m² is designed for work out of direct sunlight and is also suitable for spaces that are not too brightly lit. It can be mounted using a 100×100 VESA mount on a wall or stand. This way, you can easily install multiple monitors in your workspace.

The display adapts to the ambient light and adjusts the brightness so that it doesn't shine too brightly at night and everything is clearly displayed during the day. The PiP (Picture in Picture) function allows you to display a small window with a second image or video on the main display. This allows you to switch between the main image and the smaller embedded window, so there is no need to cancel the main activity on the screen. It provides the ability to work on two tasks simultaneously without needing a second monitor. The Picture by Picture (PbP) function is ideal for comparing data and working with different applications on two separate screens.

You can connect the monitor to your computer or laptop using HDMI and DisplayPort. If your computer does not have a suitable connector, you can expand the connectivity by purchasing a compatible port replicator. A port replicator will also be useful if you want to connect two monitors, for example. Anti-theft protection is provided by a Kensington Lock, which includes a steel cable and a locking mechanism. In addition to the monitor itself, the package also includes an HDMI cable.
Choose your monitor by native contrast and colour coverage
The Samsung monitor offers a native contrast of 1000:1. The difference between the lightest and darkest point that a monitor can display is defined by the native contrast ratio. If the contrast ratio of a monitor is 3000:1, it means that the lightest point (white) is 3000× brighter than the darkest point (black). sRGB colour coverage determines what percentage of colours from this colour space the monitor is able to display. The advantage of sRGB is that it is a common colour space that is present on most monitors. The sRGB colour coverage of this monitor is 99%. It does not cover the entire natural colour spectrum, but this may not matter when working outside of graphics.
