The new monitor in this popular series uses a low-power IPS LCD panel with a semi-matt finish. The screen boasts a contrast ratio (2000:1) that is up to twice as high as current models, and you'll also appreciate the high pixel density (140 PPI). The EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT has a detailed 4K resolution of 3840 × 2160. The manufacturer guarantees zero tolerance for defective pixels and their sub-pixels. You can connect an Ethernet cable to the EIZO LCD monitor for a hardwired internet connection, giving you a stable connection to your home or office network. The EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT uses Hi-PWM technology for brightness control, which controls the light flux of the LED elements of the backlighting system with a high-frequency pulse-width modulation in the tens of kHz range, so there is no image flickering when the screen brightness is reduced by the user. In the evening, you can significantly reduce the blue spectrum emitted by the EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT's backlighting system by up to 80% in "PAPER" mode. This is achieved by lowering the monitor's white point to below 5000K. The image is therefore always optimal in any light conditions.
A Finely Tuned Monitor
The EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT has an efficient automatic LED backlight control system that can create a stable and flicker-free image. This also leads to a reduction in the monitor's power consumption. The brightness of the EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT LCD monitor can be adjusted from 1 cd/m² up to 350 cd/m² (1% - 100% of max. brightness). This is another reason why the monitor is suitable for use day and night. The monitor can automatically set the optimal brightness level depending on the ambient light.
Colour range according to the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 standard
You can start using the EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT to its full potential straight away. Right out of the box, it can display sRGB photos correctly without the need for calibration. The display of sRGB images is also correct in browsers that do not have Colour Management support (without CMS), i.e., in web browsers and other applications. This also makes the EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT suitable for beginners who are unfamiliar with Colour Management and the colour reproduction of photos on monitors. The monitor has a dedicated "sRGB" button, which also automatically sets the corresponding white point temperature and selects the correct gradation curve (black point ramp-up speed).
The Monitor as a Docking Station
A wide range of devices and popular peripherals can be connected to the EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT monitor. Thanks to USB-C, DP and HDMI, the monitor can process not only video data, but also YCbCr up to a resolution of 3840 × 2160px at 60 frames per second. The EIZO monitor supports the connection of up to 3 external peripherals via the USB 3.1 interface and one peripheral via USB-C (Out) with the ability to charge with up to 15W of power.

The USB-B and USB-C ports have a built-in KVM function to share a single keyboard and mouse between two connected computers. Other peripherals connected to the EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT's USB hub can also be shared in this way. You can feed a signal from two computers into the EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT monitor at the same time and use the PbyP function to split the monitor screen into two display areas. Customise the monitor to your needs. Handling the 32-inch panel will be a breeze thanks to the new flexible stand. It supports height adjustment up to 195mm, pivot function and rotation in both directions by 90°, and tilting from -5° to +35°.
Smart Software for More Comfortable Use
Intelligent software allows you to preset a suitable display mode for different applications. Starting the application will also launch the settings you have previously created for the EIZO colourEdge EV3240X-WT monitor. For example, the Screen InStyle software can define "hot keys" to switch input video signals directly from the keyboard, set the white point for "Paper" mode, synchronise brightness changes on multiple monitors simultaneously with a single control, or even match the monitor's white point to the white point of the lighting of a print original.
