Peak Design thought of everything when making the 3 Legged Thing Base. For example, its bevelled rear edge is useful for easy use of tilting camera displays. There are 2 screw mounting slots on the plate so that it can be attached to both the front and back of the camera as required. In addition to the 1/4″ screw, the package also includes a rubberized washer to prevent scratching. You can even use the plate as a wide quick-release plate, an ideal solution for heavier, larger and less balanced cameras that require a stable base.
