The Metz 55MUE7800Z television displays content on a 55" screen in 4K Ultra HD resolution. The QLED technology, combined with Direct LED backlighting, renders vivid colours and uniform contrast across the entire panel. The Google TV operating system provides fast access to thousands of apps and streaming services, with voice control simplifying searches. An integrated 20W soundbar provides the audio accompaniment, complementing the visual experience. The matte-finish screen limits glare, and Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies protect your eyes during prolonged viewing.

The display is based on a QLED panel with a 139cm (55") screen size and a native resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. A system of diodes positioned behind the entire panel provides uniform Direct LED backlighting. The television supports high dynamic range standards HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG at 300 nits of brightness and 8-bit colour depth. Comfort during extended viewing is enhanced by Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies, which reduce blue light and screen flicker.

Sound Solution

The sound performance is handled by an integrated soundbar built directly into the television's body, which directs the sound towards the viewer. The system processes Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Digital audio formats, which are the standard for TV broadcasts and many streaming services. The automatic volume control function maintains a stable sound level and eliminates sudden fluctuations, for example, when changing channels or during commercial breaks.

Google TV Operating System

The device uses the Google TV operating system, which offers a clear user interface and access to the app store. Interaction is facilitated by voice control via the integrated Google Assistant, which simplifies content searching. The system includes a built-in Chromecast for streaming content from mobile devices. The system also offers the option to record TV broadcasts onto a connected USB storage device.

Television Connectivity Options

The connector equipment includes a trio of HDMI ports and one USB port for connecting external devices and playing media. The television connects to the internet via a LAN connector or wirelessly using WiFi. It also offers wireless connectivity via WiFi and Bluetooth for pairing with headphones, for example. TV signal reception is handled by DVB-T2, DVB-S2, and DVB-C tuners. A digital optical output, a headphone output, and a CI+ slot are also available.

In standard dynamic range (SDR) mode, the television falls into energy class F. The consumption in this mode is 77kWh per 1,000 hours of operation. When displaying high dynamic range (HDR) content, the consumption increases to 104kWh/1000h, and the device is classified in energy class G. Activating ECO mode further reduces consumption, as it optimises the picture settings. In standby mode, the power draw is 0.5W.
