43" Thomson 43MG7C15

The Thomson 43MG7C15 TV displays content on a 109cm (43") screen using Mini LED and QLED quantum dot technology. The display provides 4K Ultra HD resolution and uses the Google TV operating system for access to a wide range of apps. Backlighting with 80 local dimming zones precisely regulates brightness for high contrast and deep blacks. A native refresh rate of 120Hz, and up to 144Hz in game mode, ensures smooth motion. The combination of Mini LED backlighting and QLED delivers vibrant colours and a detailed picture, which is further enhanced by Dolby Vision and HDR10+ formats.

Picture quality of the Thomson 43MG7C15 TV

The 109cm (43") panel with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840×2160) is backlit by Mini LED technology, which uses 80 independently controlled zones for local dimming. This solution supports a 5000:1 contrast ratio and accurate black reproduction. The screen, with its 10-bit colour depth, processes Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HLG formats for a dynamic scene with a wide colour gamut. The brightness is 500 nits and the anti-reflective surface reduces unwanted glare.

Sound technologies

The sound system has a total output of 24W and consists of two speakers, each with a 12W output. The TV processes Dolby Atmos and DTS HD surround sound formats, which contribute to the spatial audio experience. A built-in equaliser and automatic volume control function are included for individual customisation, levelling out sudden changes in sound level, such as during commercial breaks.

Smart features

The Google TV operating system unifies content from various streaming services onto one clear home screen. It offers global and local apps such as YouTube, Netflix, Disney+ and Prima+. The integrated Google Assistant accepts voice commands, which you can use to search for films, launch apps or control the TV's functions. The built-in Chromecast handles wireless content sharing from mobile devices, and dual-band Wi-Fi provides a network connection. The TV includes HbbTV, which provides access to content over the internet.

Gaming features and connectivity

Game mode increases the refresh rate up to 144Hz for smooth motion. Tear-free and stutter-free images are supported by VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and AMD FreeSync technologies. The connector set includes four HDMI ports and three USB ports, one of which is version 3.0. Two of the HDMI ports meet the 2.1 specification for compatibility with gaming consoles, and Bluetooth 5.0 ensures wireless connection of peripherals. A stable internet connection is provided by dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) or a wired LAN port. The TV is equipped with a CI+ slot, which allows you to receive encrypted television channels.

Installation

The back of the TV is equipped with holes for a VESA mount with a 200×200mm spacing, enabling wall mounting. The total weight is 12.5kg, while the net weight is 10.1kg. The dimensions with the stand are 957×281×587mm, and without the stand are 957×89×556mm. The design is frameless.
